How to Play

Sapling SMP is available on all platforms. Whether you're on PC, Windows, Xbox, PlayStation or Mobile, you're welcome to jump into the server. Getting started is easy and this page will guide you through everything.

How To Join The Server

How to connect on Minecraft: Java Edition (PC/Mac)

Step 1: Launch Minecraft: Java Edition and select Multiplayer.

Step 2: Click the Add Server button and enter the following information:

  • Server Name: This can be whatever you like.
  • Server Address: play.sapling.gg

Step 3: Now click Done and the server should appear on your server list.

How to connect on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Windows/Mobile)

Step 1: Launch Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and select Play.

Step 2: Click the Servers tab and enter the following information:

  • Server Name: This can be whatever you like.
  • Server Address: play.sapling.gg
  • Server Port: 19132

Step 3: Now click Done and the server should appear on your server list.

How to connect on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Xbox/Playstation)

Step 1: Download the MCServerConnector or BedrockTogether App on your mobile device.

Step 2: Once the app has downloaded, Open the app and enter the following information:

  • Server Name: This can be whatever you like.
  • Server Address: play.sapling.gg
  • Server Port: 19132

Step 3: Click Start Server

Step 4: Launch Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and select Play.

Step 5: Now click on the Friends page and the server should appear on that page.
